The Parish Council would like to propose a children’s play area for the under 6’s to be located at Twelve Leys Green or The Park and would like the opinion of Parishioners as to which area is preferred. The cost of the play items will be met by s.106 monies (monies given by the Developers of the three new developments within the village) and the Community Board Funding which has been agreed already in principle. The equipment is produced by a local company which is important to the Parish Council to support local businesses wherever possible.
It is proposed that residents who are interested will vote by way of a vote cast, which will be anonymous, for the preferred area which will guide the Parish Council in taking the proposal forward. At present the Parish Council is awaiting to hear whether fencing is required but if it is it would be a wooden picket style fence and the exact location within either area would be subject to final agreement with the Buckinghamshire Council and WWRSAL depending on which site is preferred.
Please see the illustrations and look out for the voting paper in the Communique and at the village shop.
