KIRBY FUND APPLICATION PROCESS
Applications for funds from the Kirby Memorial Fund are now open. Applications are welcome from any Wingrave resident who wishes to undertake a project which meets the objectives of the fund.
Objectives of Kirby Memorial Fund:
- To assist and promote not-for-profit organisations operating in Wingrave
- The funds are to be used solely for projects which are of benefit for Wingrave residents
If you wish to submit an application for consideration please complete the application form which is available from the Parish website or email the Parish Clerk: info@wwrpc.org.uk. The form is a Microsoft Word document to enable you to complete this online. Please return the fully completed form with all the requested relevant supporting documentation to the Parish Clerk.
Grant applications will be reviewed by a sub-committee of councillors for completeness prior to the council meeting at which the funding decision will be made.
The first council meeting at which grants will be awarded will take place on 5 December 2017; applications for consideration, including full supporting documentation must be received by the Parish Clerk no later than Friday 3 November 2017. This will enable the applications to be reviewed and documentation checked for completeness by the grant sub-committee.
If your grant application is successful it does not necessarily mean the grant awarded will be 100% of the amount requested. The amount awarded will be solely at the discretion of the Parish Council.
As this is the first offering of funds from the memorial fund there will be no upper financial limit for grant applications. This will change in 2018 and you will be notified accordingly.
Successful applicants will receive funds into their nominated bank account within 15 working days subject to written acceptance of the Council’s offer.
For any assistance or guidance please contact the Parish Clerk.
