The first meeting of the Parish Council’s working group, WRAG, Wingrave with Rowsham’s Action Group (for the Climate) is taking place at WRRSAL, the Sport’s Park, opposite the allotments on March 9th at 7pm.
We are seeking to take measures to help slow down climate change through taking actions that reduce our carbon footprint with the aim of becoming carbon neutral by 2030.
Are you already involved in taking action to help the climate at an individual or organisational level? Or would you like to find out more about your individual carbon footprint or the Parish’s and would like to help reduce it? The main areas we aim to tackle are transport, the food we eat, buildings and agriculture. We will do it through providing information, education and taking action through pilot projects
