Cala Homes Update 16th September

September 16, 2021

UPDATE – CALA HOMES – TWELVE LEYS SITE

Cala met with Bron Hughes (resident) Jan Walmsley (Parish) and Peter Cooper (Bucks Council) on Friday 10th September.
Issues discussed:

Noise from reversing vehicles on Saturday mornings – Cala said they cannot turn off the beep which accompanies reversing vehicles, but they will ask the fork lift drivers to minimise reversing
Trees: Cala undertook to preserve the existing trees around the site as far as they can. We are checking to find out who owns the verge with two Rowan trees next to the building site.
Future plans: much of the heavy work has been completed, including piling and foundations, meaning fewer large lorry movements. Ongoing ground work until Christmas, then gardens, paving etc. By August 2022 work should be complete.

There will be more vans carrying tradespeople. Some will need to park on site for access to tools, but the site manager will encourage those who don’t need that to park at the Park.
We have another meeting scheduled for 4th October.
